Week 21: weigh in time

Things are getting better day by day. I no longer cough unless I laugh really hard at something or sometimes randomly at night. This week, my energy came back so I decided to try walking outdoors again!

I missed it so much! It was pretty cold out around 6-7am but the sun made it nice. Next week, though, the time is changing so the mornings will be pitch black until April, ARGH!! I also challenged myself on the treadmill:

I overdid it that day, but I was trying to do a 10k and time myself to see how long it took. My friend wants to do a 10k with me eventually but I won’t commit until I can do it in an hour like her. I’m just not there yet. I’m not going to force myself to hit it and want to stay at a somewhat hard but comfortable pace.

This week I had a nice weigh in though. I lost another 2 lbs! I wasn’t sure what the number would be as my appetite has come back and I can smell most things again.

I am sooo close to my first goal weight! Right on the line now for getting in the “overweight” BMI range.

I’m hoping to hit this first goal sometime this month. The next big goal would be to get to the normal range. I will probably stay in the upper part of that range which is my ultimate goal weight, around 132. Then, my plan is to practice maintenance and focus on not re-gaining the weight back! I also am interested in building muscle at that time. I read the more muscle you have, the easier it is to maintain, especially as I get older.

I have started incorporating kick boxing again and feel it in my muscles! I found someone on Facebook marketplace giving away a kick/punch stand for free and we grabbed it. I found my treadmill there as well!
