This week was better. I am STILL coughing which drives me crazy though. No fever since around last weekend. I was still feeling kind of weak so I skipped all my morning walks. I did decide I finally felt up to going on the treadmill with hubby in our garage.
I still was coughing a little and felt weak so I took it slow. I lowered the speed to almost walking. I felt up to a slow jog and just did that all week. My distance is way less but I feel safer taking it slow.
A long with trying to workout again, my appetite came back! It only lasted a few days because I lost my smell and nothing tasted good after that. Still, I did some damage. I think hubby felt bad for the fight we had and got pizza for the family so I didn’t have to cook last weekend. I did indulge ugh. I weighed in this morning and only lost about 0.7 this week. I reminded myself it could have been worse and how far I’ve come.
My jar has filled up quite a bit! Total loss since end of September is right around 38 lbs. My weight loss app shows 42 lbs. from my highest weight from 2021.
My BMI is slowly coming down too. I’m getting so close to not being obese any more!
I was reading about different amounts of weight loss and what they look like and was blown away by the photos I saw. I can’t believe I burned that amount. Although, some weight loss is water/muscle, I am hoping most of it is fat!
Even though I’m bummed about this week, I lost about 7 lbs. month during February. I’m happy with 4-5 so this is a surprise. I am happy that even while being sick, I stuck to the plan most of the time. (besides the pizza). Now, if I could just get rid of the cough and smell again, I’d really be happy.
Yesterday, I had a boost of energy and wasn’t coughing as much so I’m hoping this is a good sign and I’ll be able to get some outdoor walks in this week! At least 1 or 2! Until next week. Hope you have a great weekend!
