I’ve been gone for quite a bit. Just yo yoing up and down in weight 5 lbs or so. Gaining, losing, gaining, losing. It’s so frustrating because I know I can do better than this. I know I can do this, I’ve done it several times before. I’m just not being as strict and running my legs off just to maintain. These past 2 weeks I’ve finally seen losses on the scale and feel more in control again. I switched to snacking every couple hours and eating a lot of tomatoes with low fat string cheese. I don’t know why, but it really fills me up and I enjoy knowing I haven’t eaten more than 200 calories.
I’ve also been sticking to low calorie soups. Probably not the healthiest because they have sodium but the calories range from 150-190 and it fills me up. I’m trying to try other things as well but this has worked the best so far
I am also working out more often. It is mosquito season so I have been avoiding going out in the garage to workout but I put my foot down and have been forcing myself again. I never regret a workout in the end. I always feel great after!
Oh, and remember the mud run? I completed it with my friend and daughter! It was great but…..yea, I didn’t train at all and have maintained my weight. My goal was to get to a lower weight so it would be easier and I could celebrate my accomplishment. I’m still proud that I did it. I almost chickened out and backed out though. Still, it was a wonderful experience!
My daughter and friend are much fitter than me and I had to really pace myself to keep up. I needed breaks and could not run the whole time. My goal is to do it again next year but even stronger! I am at about 3 lbs down total now which isn’t much but anything is better than nothing.
I will keep checking in at least every week to stay accountable. Til next time!
yum! Those tomatoes look great!
