Part 2: Fell down

Saw some other posts and they inspired me to post again as well. I pretty much gave up for a few weeks and gained back 6 pounds. Last week, I really tried to get back track and it was tough! It’s crazy how fast you can undo all of the hard work you put in previously. 😮

But, I did manage to finally lose about 1.5 lbs this week. I was reflecting on facebook and saw some posts that reminded me how inspiring and motivating it can be to post. So, I forced myself to write again. We had a really awful heatwave this past week that finally ended on Wednesday. It felt great to get out for my walks without sweating again!

However, I couldn’t believe how much strength I’ve lost in such a short time. After only 5 minutes, I wanted to end the workout and go home. I stuck to it though, but man…crazy how sluggish I felt this week! I’m hoping next week to feel better and re-awaken my muscles. Is that a thing? I just want to get to my goal weight range but with my set back, it seems far away.

I keep reminding myself, if I don’t continue, it will get further and further away if I allow myself to gain. So, luckily, I lost a bit this week and want to continue! I hope you are all doing good and enjoying the beginning of fall! 🍂🍁
