Week 28: Another week down

It was a nice week this week. It was pretty foggy out, though. The trees are all getting their leaves back and the weather is slowly getting nicer.

I made sure to get my walks in, even with the fogginess. It actually got pretty cold at one point and I hadn’t put a jacket on. That wasn’t fun…

I did get another duck couple sighting!

They are always roaming this neighborhood. I keep forgetting to bring some crackers or something for them. Maybe next time!πŸ¦†πŸ¦†

This week was decent after my gain last week. I lost -1.8 this week.

I was a little annoyed because I was hoping for over 2 lbs but I am really just being impatient. I feel like a platuea is coming on. My body seems to really like this current weight range I’m at. I have been at this current weight since middle school! Yes, I have always been overweight. Only in the last 5 years did I get obese. I will just have to deal with my weight fluctuating and not give up. It may take a bit longer to get to my goal weight, but the most important thing is that I DO get there eventually! I added a bit of strength training in yesterday and woke up sore. I prefer cardio but I do want to retain and build muscle soon. The only thing is that building muscle will show up on the scale too, so I’m hesitant. In the long run, it will really help me though.

That’s all for this week. No big plans this weekend, phew. I need a weekend to just relax and do nothing for once! The other day, I took our dog out for a gorgeous sunny walk. He really loves to stop under the trees and lay on the grass. I like to keep walking nonstop, but it was kind of nice to take a moment and take in the sounds of being outside and enjoy the shade. 🐢🌳🐦🌼
