Checking in. Staying accountable. I have hit a rough patch. Last week was my time of month and I basically stalled. This week, the whole family got the big “C”
I ended up skipping all workouts from Tuesday through Thursday. Plus, it rained on and off and I also missed last Saturday.
It sucks because I really wanted to have a big loss this week. I have to keep reminding myself that pushing for so much weight loss in a short time is not good in the long term but I’ve been stubborn. Hubby had to remind me that my health for the long term is more important than getting some workouts in this week. And he was right because I recovered fairly quickly. I am feeling back tomorrow and got out for a nice outdoor walk this morning!
I think if I had pushed myself and continued working out while sick would have made my symptoms and recovery time worse. Even without working out, I still managed to eek out a 1.2lb loss!
Sigh…I know I should be happy for the small loss, but seeing my weight loss graph level out and stall is kind of a bummer. But, like last week, I’m gonna focus on the new week and hope to reach the next goal.
