Week 11: Crazy week, soo much food!

This is a quick update. Just want to wish everyone happy holidays and be accountable by checking in. This was a super stressful week for me. I knew Christmas would be tough but dang it was crazy.

The kids were off school so they wanted to do a ton of stuff. Christmas eve I sang at church and was on my feet the whole day. I tried to be healthy with soup at church. It was chicken noodle soup and salad.

However, I baked first with the kids. We made gingerbread houses, chocolate chip cookies, and cinnamon rolls…I definitely nibbled and tasted them all…eep!

Then, when I finally got home, it was past ten. I ended up staying up until 3 am yikes! I was exhausted, but I had a great time with my family.

Christmas day was just food food and more food. I cooked breakfast for everyone which included bacon, eggs, French toast, beans, and hash browns. I tried to eat slowly and count the bites but….ACK!

Dinner was a full turkey dinner with stuffing. I was stuffed!

So, to sum things up, I didn’t lose this week. I managed to maintain somehow but wow. I thought I did damage control with the rest of the week but just those 2 days were enough. I was disappointed and still kind of upset, but it was Christmas and I need to push forward. Not get down on myself. At least I got some long workouts in. No rain this week!

It felt great to get out of the house for some me time and just de-stress.

I’m focusing on a new week and the New year coming. Hopefully a better weigh in next week!

Happy New year!
